Role-playing games is extraordinarily effective in team building. As Winnicott says: "The role-playing environment is the world of 'as if' where everything is possible and where we can behave like we would in our daily lives and in our working environment, we might not have the courage to do".
Doing so in a situation protected and monitored by the facilitators, enables us to experience 'how it would be' and internalize our ability to change.
